Our Company

Tremont Yacht Furniture is located in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada, close to the border with the United States. We have been producing fine cabinetry and joinery since 1995. With a workforce of 22 people and 28,000 square feet of production space, we have the ability to take on a lot of work. Most of our employees are in their thirties, although we employ 3 or 4 "old-country" craftsmen whereof the oldest is 73 and still puts in a 40 hr work week. Needless to say, they bring a wealth of knowledge to work everyday. All of our staff have been carefully selected to produce these high-end products. We continually strive to maintain a pleasant atmosphere in our factory, owner John Berman and production manager Alex Vakoulich are very much aware that a happy employee is a productive employee.

We are used to tuning in to what our clients want from us. We listen and we make things happen the way they desire them to be done. If necessary, we look for solutions.

John learned his trade from old-country wood craftsmen who brought with them techniques honed from years of experience. John and his team love working with wood and enjoy challenges in design. Tremont Yacht Furniture has built components that other shops have deemed impossible.
